Me too. And a lot of folks are working locally and building community to help us *survive* this at all. Moving resources to those most at risk, setting up infrastructure to replace what we’re losing. It’s terrifying.

Our “justice” system helps by disproportionately targeting people of color for incarceration and disenfranchisement, and then overwhelming puts them in private prisons in conservative districts, artificially inflating population in those districts to give them more power, which again is not offset

We do know, and a hell of a lot of us didn’t vote for him. There’ve also been decades of growing voter suppression tactics deployed all over the country to either block certain populations from voting, or to dilute the power of their votes using gerrymandering and other underhanded, racist tactics.
