We actually had a human Lyme vaccine that was quite good but antivaxxers kept lying and saying it gave people knee pain (it didn’t, and also, knee pain?) and got it taken off the market. Thanks to years of allowing their bad behavior like that they’re now going to kill us all.

I live in Maine. I spend every spare minute in the outdoors because I love fishing, hiking and exploring remote areas where I can find peace and escape the cesspool of humanity for a hot second. I wanted this vaccine so badly to protect myself, clearly being high risk. Antivaxxers can SHOVE IT.

This makes my heart hurt. Today should have been a good day. Her kindness, strong yet empathetic leadership and hope for a better future was what we should be celebrating right now. Instead we’re sitting here waiting for Sauron and his orc army to take over and destroy everything in their path.
