It depends on the situation but generally his criticism is flat and direct, but if he can see solutions to the issue he's happy to provide suggestions. His criticism only really starts getting harsh when people are in danger

Kal is very casual about showing skin! Most of his armor sets are fairly exposed, to the point where I think at least half of his glamours feature loincloths, and if the Scions have any kind of meeting before 10 am they fully expect him to show up in just his underwear

The in-game version is partially accurate for Kal but it's primary effect is picking up on feelings and emotions of every living thing in his immediate vicinity, with the explicit visions coming only in pretty extreme circumstances
