Cranked out a minimap/radar system yesterday. Not a lot of info on creating one, but wasn't that bad to make. Satisfied with how it came out (will get polish)

Improved the Elites dodge functionality. They dodge everything thats a "Danger", such as fast vehicles, grenades, etc

Making things a more reactive to physics forces (even more chaos!). Characters get launched by strong forces, and vehicles can get launched too. Next up is to affect projectiles too!

Refactored my grenade system and HUD. Made an editor tool that allows me to take screenshots and make icons really quickly, which helped to flesh out the UI a lot.

Worked a bit on making my main menu better and worked on the logo.

I LOVE JIGGLE PHYSICS. I really wanted my Warthog to feel a bit more lively, so I added some bouncing/moving parts. Using 1 bone each which doesn't look as good as it can be but keeps performance costs low.

By far my favorite weapon prototype I've been working on this week, the Needler from Halo. Came with a lot of challenges (which included a lot of crashes) but it's so chaotically, ridiculously fun after all the work.

Started a basic Warthog model and couldn't resist making giving my AI the ability to drive wheeled Chaos vehicles. I think the Grunts are having a little too much fun with it but are also terrible drivers 😂

Created and added various layered additive animations for my viewmodel in Sacrilege. Makes player movement feel more responsive and natural IMO. Also added some weapon models (AR from Marcus Lehto, DMR from McCarthy3D in this clip).

I would first check your task manager when your performance is bad, and see what's happening. Is your disk at 100%? CPU 100%? RAM? Different hardware being at high usage will be indicative of different things going on.
