I was really rooting for Toronto, but I have to say, so many insane plays in this World Series went the way of the Dodgers, and it's unbelievable how they won that game and this series. The ninth inning of Game 7 alone had all of the twists and drama you could imagine. Unbelievable.

So. Today was a really big day. Yes, for the entire team, but for me personally... It's been a long time goal of mine to work at DICE and to ship a Battlefield game. I checked that first box a year and half ago, and today I can say that "I did it!!"
And that "we did it!!!"...

Woke up to the news about Sandberg, and it just hit me like a ton of bricks this AM. He was my first favorite baseball player. He was the player that solidified my love of baseball, and the Cubs. Way too to young to go. You will be missed.

The Yankees have the most annoying "stadium sounds" in baseball. Just non stop high pitched annoying stuff along with a bunch of Star Wars sound effects that are over used. Good lord...

@jesawyer.bsky.social this one wasn't too bad, but was just unnecessary. Simple enough to use and the movement was restricted so it wasn't like an analog joystick. 5/10 for just unnecessary design, but still usable and mostly easy to understand what I'm getting.

This. And read Kate’s South of Midnight review, it’s incredible. As a woman who has never been South of Iowa for any meaningful period of time, it was amazing to read someone from the US south talking about the game. I learned a lot!
