Been hyperfixated on Metroid again, so wanted to try spriting a mockup of a Metroid game as if it were on the Sega Genesis. 4 palettes with 16 colors each (including transparency)

here's a couple more I got done today!

I just finished playing through Dimension of the Machine. Absolutely fantastic episode, every map was gorgeous and laid out excellently. I really liked the pacing of the maps, the action was constant and none of the maps felt like they dragged on. You should go play it!
