The fact that white women in the GOP, like Nancy Mace, rail about DEI but don't realize they're the biggest benefactor of DEI is crazy. Reminds me of how Republican voters rail against Obamacare or cheer the cutting of social safety net programs like Medicaid & food stamps when they depend on it.

Mexico and Canada are helping us fight the wildfires in California, while Donald Trump just spends his time insulting the people of California during this tragic crisis. There isn't an ounce of empathy in that man's body and he entirely lacks the character inherent in a real leader. @latimes.com

Our criminal justice system is deeply broken. A convicted felon is about to become president, facing no consequences for his crimes. We have 2 systems of justice. 1 for the rich & powerful primarily benefiting white men. 1 for the rest of us primarily punishing POC.

Further, once these incarcerated people are released from prison, they still can't use the dangerous experience they gained as underpaid firefighters to become firefighters on the outside, because they have a criminal record. They won't get hired.

Didn't Trump say he completely eradicated ISIS? Yet another lie only his sycophantic MAGA fans & unengaged voters believed. Extremist groups are about more than members - it's also about ideology. And you can't eradicate extremist ideology, but you can mitigate the effects on a society. @npr.org

One thing that helps in the upcoming Trump presidency is that MAGA is unhinged & will eat their own. We saw it w GOP infighting over the spending bill. Now MAGA faithful, like Laura Loomer, are fighting Elon Musk & Vivek Ramaswamy over immigration policy. Trumpers in disarray helps save the country.
