There’s just a race between fascist metastasis and a better world. Fascism is inherently unstable and won’t be permanent, but it will do a hell of a lot of damage while it’s here. We need to fight to minimize its damage, end it as early as possible and set the groundwork for what’s next.

In many ways I’m still a utopian idealist, but that whole idea of techno-optimism just feels so immeasurably distant to me now in a way that feels odd to even think about.
