Didn’t get to ride the new Acela for its debut on Thursday, but I did take a selfie with it on my way to Logan Airport to complete my final flight on JetBlue 25 for 25 challenge.

One of the new Amtrak NextGen Acela trains flying by the Canton Junction MBTA station en-route to South Station. This section is one of a few along the Northeast Corridor where the train CAN reach its max speed.

It's great to be home for a bit, after traveling 22,570 miles on #JetBlue since the end of July. That doesn't count miles traveled on Amtrak, Brightline, Metro-North and other modes of transportation.

My next JetBlue #25for25 blitz begins this morning in Washington, D.C. it’ll involve three other runs up and down the East Coast in the next 36 hours.
With Hurricane Erin off the coast, this will be my biggest test yet.

JetBlue appears to be having a bad night at JFK, planes that landed 1 to 2 hours sitting on the tarmac waiting for a gate.

Did JetBlue’s Dunkin Summer promotion end early? Is the plane down for awhile?
The plane was supposed to be in for maintenance on 7/21 and 7/28, but it remains in SAL and now their website sounds like they’ll be no more Monday status giveaways.

Delta Air Lines appears to be canceling its new Boston (BOS) to Honolulu (HNL) route.
BOS-HNL was planned to suspend after April 30 and resume on November 20, but the resumption for next season has now been removed from sale.
Hawaiian Airlines continues to serve this route.
