The last two posts in my polisky feed are 4 and 5 days old, respectively (see screenshot). Same problem with other feeds (e.g., sociology, methods, demography, econsky).

What's going on, Bluesky @bsky.app?
February 28, 2024 at 7:59 AM
Hey @bsky.app, I'm having problems with my Bluesky app: I see considerably less posts in my pinned feeds in the app than in the web client, sometimes none at all (see the attached screenshot).

Can you help?

And, as one would expect, a look at the data reveals that it's (much more) complicated: www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Maybe of interest to some of you is my discussion of the question whether causation requires manipulation (and the literature cited) in Wenz (2020, pp. 41-46).

PS: Depending on the Maraschino and the Crème de Violette as well as the Gin, it can be a good idea to balance sweet and sour (and the overall flavor profile) by adding more or less simple syrup as in the recipe from Death & Co. (see attached photo) or in the recipe on tuxedono2.com/aviation-coc...

In a second “all German” round w/ Summerville Gin, lemon juice, (the less sweet) Schladerer Maraschino, & (the little more soapy) TBT Violet Liqueur 2/.66/.5/.25 was too sour & tart IMO.

My preferred ratio depends heavily on both the Maraschino and the Crème de Violette.

The other night I used No. 3 London Dry Gin, lemon juice, Luxardo Maraschino, & Tempus Fugit Liqueur de Violettes w/ 2/.75/.5/.33 oz and it worked really well for me.
