Unfortunately, Portland’s had several. We are on track for about 50 homicides this year, which will be the lowest in post pandemic era.

To give the city credit they’ve done a lot in last 20 or so years. They bought out the stretch on Foster that used to flood all the time between SE 103rd and 111th. BES just completed the West Lents and Springwater Wetlands project as well.

Seems like pretty limited applicability downtown as well. How many streets downtown are 26 feet wide once you account for parking, aside from the major streets?
