Pals in other states: do you guys do 6th grade outdoor ed camp? We do here in California. It’s 4 days and incredible. Kiddo left this am, and after a fiasco from Kaiser wrong medical info with her meds, and my day on the phone fixing over and over, she is thriving and I miss her but I’m so happy

Also, the people behind us weren’t season ticket holders, but the staff less us put their stuff on our “tab” (again, just free) so we got them stocked up, too. That was super nice of them. And kenley got to take batting practice on the field.

Just a little note that in their last game ever (after 79 years) the Modesto Nuts defeated the San Jose Giants in extra innings.
The San Jose Giants are the 2025 Northern Division Champions.
I’m so proud of our boys. 2 got called up to Everett that day, and the AquaSox are still in their playoffs

I’m still having a hard time processing that our minor league team is actually gone after 79 years. The final home game was great, every player signed Kenleys alt team Malmo Oat Milkers jersey, and Starlin Aguilar gave Kenley his batting gloves. Hopefully Sunday we’ll catch the final in San Jose

The Rollie Fingers labubu made it to the man! Kenley got him to sign a ball and a foam finger making it a true Rollie Fingers. She’s holding both, in front of the booth where he signed them and we gave him his Panini labubu Kiddo holding a drink and a Rollie Fingers labubu, ready to give it to the man himself.

She can’t believe the audacity of first class passengers not giving up their window seats for her kids. You have millions. You could have fixed this.
My response: I’ve given up my seat before on a flight to keep a family with poor planning skills together. It was one where I paid 100 bucks extra for my window seat. Why do I take the loss? My husband doesn’t have a 20 million dollar contract somewhere. If you wanted to sit together, you could have asked any group together in coach and they’d have accepted, and you’d be together. You wouldn’t do that, so it looks like first class was the priority. So, you wouldn’t give up that kind of money for others, but hope someone would for you. Most people can’t afford first class, and only get to do that once or twice in a lifetime, and likely want to sit with who they’re traveling with when they spend that kind of money. Lack of planning on the part of who booked your trip didn’t constitute an emergency for someone else. Mrs. Strickland complaining that the whole family is traveling, she didn’t book the tickets, their first class, and they’re not a big block together. They ask everyone if first class to move, and can you believe they say no? Everyone is the worst! She can’t believe it. Why does everyone hate her? Her kids in their seats, together, with her across from them. Not terribly apart. But it means she kept asking window seats to swap for aisle seats, so I see why they said no. Again, I feel weird making this point because I’m reality I will say yes to keep a family together, but I think it’s important that I shouldn’t HAVE TO.
