Forgot it was William Blake day yesterday which apparently is a thing. Picture of Jacob's Ladder.
A full length mirror carries the image of an angel. Angel and human figures ascend amd descend a stairway which reaches up to the highest point of the sky. Lower half of picture is stars in night sky but the upper half is a glorious reddy orange with sun at xenith of picture. At feet of lowest point a figure half dressed in toga spans half the width of portrait.

As it looks like I won't get back to favourite holiday spot this year here's a photo of the view I had each morning in late August.
Two trees full of green leaves have foliage meeting in a peak. This frames a view over a mier with bullrushes and a view of trees in the distance. The sky is grey and the surface of the mier is covered with early morning mist.

My morning view from my back garden.

Not really the blue sky posts I've seen but I liked this night view.
