it's always so fascinating to me how the loudest "nobody has media literacy anymore" people are also the ones that always outright *hate* on interpretations that differ from theirs lmao. like. the first thing you learn in any literature class is that there is not One Correct Interpretation 😭

I know it's usually just a joke (though some people are genuinely so ANGRY about jester not spending most of her time healing?? chill, maybe??) but akskkdks I had to put up with all the "shadowheart never hits anything lol" jokes, I cannot do it again

it's been getting SO bad recently, it's so frustrating... esp bc it never accomplishes anything or tries to AT LEAST open up a discussion... sighs for a million years tbh!!

apart from it feeling very mean-spirited a lot of the time, it just rubs me the wrong way how the discussion shifted from valid criticism to putting the way people interact with media under a microscope. idk!!
