9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors - colloquially "999" - has a revolutionary storyline and kicks of the "Zero Escape" franchise. Pokémon Red Version is a very broken game, but the nostalgia of just the first song that plays when you start a new game is enough to render me helpless with childlike wonder and excitement. Resident Evil 2 for the original PlayStation launched my love for the Resident Evil franchise and survival horror as a whole. Impeccable gameplay. The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask takes a step back from the traditional Zelda storyline and gives you an intimate look into the lives of its NPCs. Its rushed development cycle provoked dark themes that pull at the heartstrings and push a unique narrative.
