I’ve been loving Derek Webb’s new album, “Survival Songs” for this reason. Cis-white-straight guys like me need to get in the “nail polished” allies game.

This also reminds me of Promise Keepers in the 90s. It was a good thing for so many men. And also, it helped sustain stereotypes and roles that aren’t helpful. We can do rites of passage and brotherhood and accountability…and it doesn’t have to just be a conservative thing.
