It’s a pretty tense, well-executed interactive thriller.

Whittaker’s directness and animated earnestness would suit either creator’s work nicely.
Maybe Whittaker could play an older Tomorrow in Death Stranding 3. :)

Outside of Who, she’s probably best-known for Broadchurch or Attack The Block.

My top picks to play the Master are an American (Caleb Landry Jones), an Australian (Hugo Weaving) and a Canadian (@eliastoufexis.bsky.social).

Who do you want to see play the Doctor?

Alien: Romulus and The Long Walk make me really want to see David Jonsson play the Doctor.
Both films show his tremendous range: he can be warm, welcoming, funny, vulnerable, closed-off, scheming and sinister, and these are all vital traits for the Doctor. ❤️❤️🟦

I wonder if Glaser will be “promoted” from the Golden Globes and host the Oscars someday.

While it’s unofficial, I absolutely count Exhausted Supplies as a great real work of Who.

I just saw Train Dreams, and WOW.
Slow and rich, with profound but natural dialogue, achingly moving performances (especially from Joel Edgerton) and stunning cinematography. With its themes of death and human connection, it's a little like an American Seventh Seal.

Some Macs this old have trouble with SSDs, but this Lombard seems to have no difficulty finding and booting from a modern SSD like this.

Both of the spare screens I transplanted have serious artefacts, though the second one is still usable and not nearly as bad.

It’s in pretty good condition, except for a badly-degraded screen suffering from the dreaded “vinegar syndrome”.
I can also tell it’s been upgraded, as it literally has “Newer RAM”. :P
(Plus a bigger – 10 GB – hard-drive.)

Death Stranding 1 got an excellent Mac port last year, so Kojima better not leave us hanging.

I just watched Warfare. I’m sorry, but I don’t like it.
It’s an extremely technically-competent, pretty neutral recreation of a tense moment in the Iraq War, but the long lulls make the film weirdly boring when you have so little connection to the flimsy characters.

It's fascinating how the game's depiction of Helheim, the Norse realm of the dead, owes such a stylistic debt to Christian portrayals of Hell, namely those of Dante and Hieronymous Bosch.
