The other night was game night with two of our sons. My husband had a meeting so I chose a couple of light games - Castle Combo and Guillotine. Both were well received!

Last night’s games, which I’m running at a local con next month.
Two rounds of each: Our son trashed us on his first playthrough of Coral & my husband won the second. Vicious Gardens was a tie the first round (not me) and I won the second, even though I had fewer victory cards.

Played Long Shot this afternoon with 6 (vs 2 this morning) and also played Secret Hitler. Fascists won - I was Hitler. Normally I’d be thrilled with the win, but all things considered, well… 😝

We played Tiny Epic Game of Thrones with one of the kids earlier this week. I don’t think my complete lack of knowledge about the books or series hindered me. I barely beat my schedule n but my husband destroyed us both.

Played some Forgotten Waters last night - what an enjoyable game! I thought the mechanics were different than anything else we’ve played. And the countdown timer works well for AP folks. 😆

We bailed on a game day to nap, but played Undaunted 2200 Callisto after waking up. I missed a symbol on the first scenario board which cost me the game. We both stumbled a bit with it, but I’d happily play it again.

Had a game night with friends and managed to play Horrified and a few games of Flip 7 after dinner. Flip 7 will definitely be a con game for me; Horrified went exceptionally well - a lot less terror spread around from our previous playthrough

Played Thunder Road Vendetta tonight that a friend brought over. First time any of us had played anything more than the basic game. Big rig and motorcycles added some interesting chaos as did some of the hazards & boards. Looking forward to more!

Tonight’s new play - we didn’t have a lot of brain power in reserve to learn anything meaty, so Castle Combo was a perfect game. Can’t wait to play it with more people!

The 3 of us died horribly but all agreed we like it and want to play again. It’s different from other games we’ve played.

All I can say is this is a killer game - quite literally! Made it through the first scenario (base game) and died horribly in the second. Husband’s not sure he likes it. I’ll give another go.
