If you use #nvda 64 bit with #eloquence, v8 is out for you now. Here are the release notes. Written after just a single beer:
Everything in this release is thanks to pbsinnett, a brand new contributor! This restores dash pauses, prevents the double dash stutter, and makes dictionary entries with […]

Well that was fun while it lasted.

Incidentally, anyone looking for an expert in accessibility with over ten years of experience working for fortune 500 companies in the tech industry?

Asking for a, um, friend.

Creating a better world should include not wining about every single use of vibe coding. If somethings a problem, it's probably in a corperation or a company, and not from every single use of vibe coding. Know when a human choice is actually a problem, don't use your ego as an excuse to hate […]

My burnout is not wanting to fuck up my applications for my users. I'm sure this exists though, I'm not trying to undermind it, but for me it has nothing to do with the AI. https://techcrunch.com/2026/02/09/the-first-signs-of-burnout-are-coming-from-the-people-who-embrace-ai-the-most/

Do you use #eloquence with 64-bit #nvda? If so, release v7 is now available, fixing bugs with say all and skim reading. An attempt was also made to handle unicode paths, but I'm unsure if it worked completely. github.com/fastfinge/eloquence_64/releases/tag/v7
Release v7: say all fixes · fastfinge/eloquence_64
This release fixes say all while skim reading is enabled. If eloquence encountered a blank line, and thus had nothing to say, it wasn't correctly notifying NVDA that it was done speaking (because i...

Wish BitWarden would fix a few accessibility concerns. 1password deffinitly leads in accessibility, and it's slightly better unlocking than bitWarden is. I have to check autofill and only lock on reboot at the very least in order to have a good user experience with it […]

Really disappointed to find that https://openvibe.social/#openvibe a free way to cross post to Mastodon, threads, tumblr, etc isn't accessible at all to post if you are blind and use a screen reader. I've only used it on iOS , but I'm not sure how it acts on Android.

Maybe I'm jaded, but I don't understand total AI deniers. Next they're going to asume I don't care about people if I use AI. I hope they put that on technology. NO using technology, because someone could choose to do something hurtful with it.

I think Codex and claude itself, it's cli is the best accessible options, followed by Gemini, if you care about real results over slightly better accessibility with gemini. I don't understand why claude got such a bad accessibility rating. My main concern with accessibility is it making sence if […]
