Basically this was a bug in Dropbox that they fixed, and their marketing is selling it as some new feature.

Grump! Does anyone know if Dropbox are having trouble sending 2FA SMS messages to the UK at present? I'm trying to authenticate a new device and I'm still waiting for that goddamn code; it's running Android 15 and I've got google authenticator but there's no longer an option to use that instead.

More specifically - we are probably getting to drop box votes today, but it could be a blend. We don't know if they are Capitol Hill dropbox votes or Magnolia dropbox votes.

According to King County elections they had "a LOT" of dropbox activity in this election (emphasis theirs). They expect there's probably another 230-235K ballots countywide, so probably 115K or so in Seattle. Tonight will be a drop of 50-55K countywide, 25K or so in Seattle.
