4/4 On the positive side gamers, modders, Linux advocates, and those on a budget would like to see the Steam Machine succeed. In the middle of all this the Gabe Cube could not have arrived at a better moment.

3/4 Recent Windows 11 update missteps, Windows 11 exploiting OS user data, Microsoft lead paint smoothie decisions with Game Pass and the XBOX ecosystem, Nintendo’s expensive games, console stagnation, and RAM price surge have created a background noise of pain points for gamers.

2/2 The blue squid and a red Royal that looks like Cowboy Bebop's Swordfish are the first exotics I wanted. I used No Man's Sky Coordinate Exchange (NMSCE) filters for location, chased down the remaining 7 glyphs, and finally I got my first non-expedition S-class ship.

3/3 The corvette helped salvage my first exotic ship. The classic squid ship in blue has a massive cylindrical engine, bulging canopy, and NACA ducts and airfoils that gave a retro aerospace design language, and other explorers on the Space Anomaly often dropped by to look.

1/3 My No Man's Sky corvette End of the World Sun was inspired by the DRACO bush plane, FPV quads, and another builder's Red Dragon corvette. The Red Dragon silhouette is much closer to a dragon, but I eyeballed the build for a more aggressive front and top profile.

I had friends who masked their fear and lack of skill with cool by saying sim racers and RTS gamers were too try-hard. Nope, improvement is built on a foundation of learned failures. Being "productive" is not everything, and the answer here is positive-ish and because it's fun.

I was talking to FPS gamers about the Russo-Ukrainian War where anime skins on pink rifles, waifu patches, and helmet cat ears can found in infantry and armor units. I then realized that Battlefield 6 gamers don't want realism, they want immersion so give them what they want.

Many conflict reporters I followed talked about how they kept sane: find joy and beauty whether it's the celebration of a birth, pets, or people going about their life as best they can. Acting hard all the time sounds fake, narcissistic, or opens up to burnout or radicalization.

Me: Well… at least it’s not boring. Where’s your vending machine at anyway?

Wasteland hoarder: Oh! Oh! My perks actually makes things lighter if I carry them than leaving it in the stash box!

This is a repeat of the pandemic where they FAFO and many still blamed everyone else except themselves. Once again while they’re morons they are our morons that still need access to social safety nets to avoid worse outcomes for everyone else.

The first thing that came to mind is DC Comics' Thy Kingdom Come ending which had a much briefer but thematically similar take at the Superman of the Kingdom Come universe.

The President of the United States is announcing battle damage assessment by using posts from open source engagement farmers, shitposters, and airplane pillow humpers. What a time to be alive... but not for the F-35 pillow.

1/11 The fundamental human right to exist is political, and wearing the uniform itself is a political act. However the politicization of the arm forces specifically refers to being biased towards or against one US political party or the other.

Figured out fishing at my first Fallout 76 camp, Lucky Hole Overlook. Also the Grand Finale has been fixed and is loading triple canisters again. Indirect artillery fire just like from the old Scorched Earth game is back to go along with some July 4th fish and chips.

No dummies, anyone who are not anti-West recognize that the targets are belligerent colonialists cunts. Lots of research were done on drone warfare after the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War in 2020 so this asymmetric op was going to happen. Get smart. Get anti-drone systems. Git gud.

3/3 Fallout 76 still has isolation and loneliness for those that seek it. Play without the background music, stick with casual teams to gain bonuses but do your own thing, remove the vendor to reduce visitors to the player camp, and explore by foot between civilization footholds.
