1/2 The best advice here is that Steam OS is good if time spent is mostly gaming while desktop Linux distros are best if gaming is done sometimes. Steam OS was usable on weeks-long trips but booting to desktop was annoying even with nested desktop option.
Any limitation on SteamOS being a good desktop OS?

This is probably more than a Steam Machine. I was a week away from getting the black version of these RAM sticks at around 200 something for flight sims and OS virtualization. People thought I was exaggerating until they check the prices of their RAM.

This is probably more than a Steam Machine. I was a week away from getting the black version of these RAM sticks at around 200 something for flight sims and OS virtualization. People thought I was exaggerating until they check the prices of their RAM.
Jay tries to build a Steam Machine with ITX parts available and ended with me catching myself letting out an audible "oomph!" when the total price was revealed. The Steam Machine's *internal* 200 watt power supply and smol case are hard acts to follow.

iRacing Arcade’s cute art style and deep setup options looks like it may be a great way to introduce circuit racing to kids and non-petrolheads. Its third person view helps with track layouts and keeping things light, and it will be Steam Deck optimized.
Ignore the poo-pooing, the controls are obviously mimicking small general aviation aircraft and that's not a bad thing although it could use an extra thumbstick as a camera control. Looks compact and useful for simmers traveling or in confined spaces.

Fallout season 2 trailer. Quadruple the airships, superweapons, NCR Ranger helmet with powered armor, and powered armor against deathclaw. Many of the scenes look like they came out of Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 rather than New Vegas and I'm here for them.

1/14 TL;DNR, strength is important but “yes”. It’s why dual wielding often have guards that are low-high and one held forward and the other back. Greatswords can be used one-handed and sword design and body mechanics impact what's optimal which is a range.
