You gotta go through your family's social media, my scammy ads are much higher quality. Meryl Streep says she has alzheimers and this one easy trick can cure it. It's very poor quality but targeted demo can't tell.

Caught this by luck on a TV.

Back then, this tweet was surprising, because of his brand. We don't often react as much as we should at billionaires with records of philanthropy and support publicly for social progress because other billionaires are more problematic. But the current landscape makes it more obvious and deadlier

I see your $10k meme contest on tech optimism and I raise you the 100k essay ( in total prizes) contest on positive agi futures.

Like other sectors, spirituality embraced AI chat bots to meditate interactions w followers. The leaders are of two camps: people who are hustling new profits and true believers trying to help more people. Both camps lack AI education and are inadvertently harming their communities & the planet.

Following Huberman telling people to get more sun in a prerecorded few minute video is Replit AI, a headliner. I'm checking out but the event overall has no content, just catchphrases & BS. Dog & pony show imho but funded & harmful due 2 taking advantage of chaos of current climate

Needs no introduction. but see like this is jsut tryign to get famous names on the roster, but this live forever optimization of self is part of the ideology bubbling over these days that goes very eugenics quickly

Ok this was the one I saw before. Milton Friedman's grandson, how do I know? That's how his talk starts. Seasteaders are a certain type.

This one is super contempt riddled language, its that thiel fellowship that pas people to drop out that's now trying to level up I guess? One upside for pulling youth out of schools is that they are not experienced and you can manipulate their beliefs, get their devotion and exert control

Balaji's network state conference was streaming live and I stumbled on to it tonight for a tiny bit.. some of these speakers I've seen in Sf at weird sad events speaking to like 50 transhumanists, if that. Over 400k ppl watching on twitter but only 300 ppl on youtube... thread of clips

Bay area! 4 night run in the mission starting tonight for a magic show made for hard times. Struggling with loss? You're not alone. It's full of mentalism and metaphors and doing something radically different with the art form. www.findthepony.org

Went to a friend's cool art opening on data & black consciousness. Right next door was A16z hosted art party showcasing gen AI start ups: security, guest list only, not even press could get in, exclusionary rented gallery. Dog& pony show for art washing means desperation for hedge fund cash imho.

Meanwhile in San Francisco.... (Really? FOUR lectures on who Peter Thiel thinks the antichrist is. Once would laugh if this wasn't the foundational thinking shaping current relationship between tech and the US government)

Book haul. Finally picked up this Golumbia book, who was just so spot on. I remember being blown away by his politics of Bitcoin and FB essay. Nothing happening is new, these silicon valley roots are old and you reap what you sow. RIP Golumbia 💗

Gray Area festival- some highlights.

Viewing this thread on the backgrounds of some speakers at the abundance Con; looking at funders; while also noticing many good orgs + people pushing for bridge & coalition building with those they don't agree with as urgent politics. Situating that in the context of life & death power concentration

Take a closer look at the we just scratched the surface examples of how AI is going to impact these huge markets in the "Trillion Dollar AI we swear" presentation at Sequoia Capital that's been viewed near half a million times. The ad is fine but the sloth and sketchy AI medical app?

I had to look up night soil. Over in SF it's all the rage to mail samples in.

This was the url where the AI advisory year 2 insights report was located that covered use of AI in humanitarian cases such as refugees. Is it somewhere else or just gone?

Feeling this painting at Victoria Miro's big money summer show. Who doesn't have an inner colonist that needs to be defeated by their pantsless wild forest gods. David Harrison,

Was reading a teacher complain on Reddit about how annoying it is to see AI written text everywhere now and this snarky reply just nails what AI sounds like all the time in people's social media posts. So egregious.

AI is an oppresive combo with any and every state. It is always every single time a tool of surveillance dependent on and/or perpetuating. time.com/7291105/hajj...

At the time I thought to myself, should I post this or will will my AI social media think I'm being too unhinged and weird. Well the weird turn pro I guess. This is still a contributing problem but I guess I didnt for see the scope
