Like, this is an actual human being. What does this person consider to be humorous? I can't even imagine. And yet, we are breathing the same air, and are ultimately genetically related.

Wages. They're trying to use it to solve having to pay wages.

Probably about 24-26, when I'd moved out and started to have to buy my own socks. As someone who walks everywhere, I tear through socks at an alarming rate, so not having to replace them on my own dime was a huge boon.

I think my favorite one, is when a cat is singing the song of their people, for no reason I can discern, I say "Gee, that's a whole lot of words, there. No, really? You don't say."

A lot of this "queer is just" argument feels like it's a scheme to deny us our validity in art. And art has so many reasons to exist: To Escape, to resist, to explore, and to understand. The universe can't be only darkness, or you'll never appreciate how deep the shadows get.
