As a UX researcher/ behavioral scientist this is my soap box issue.
There is too much branding in these fields.
I have lost count of the number of misunderstandings small and large, because people have 2 different definitions of the same term. (1/2 🧵

Just discovered this photo of my grandfather and 2 of his 5 siblings. For Irish orphans they managed to see the world. 1 settled in UK -1 in the US - 1 in Hong Kong - and 1 in New Zealand (2 stayed in Ireland) … but a meet up in Tahiti made sense for 3 of them!
