Ally McBeal Christmas episodes. Sure the series is problematic and hasn’t aged brilliantly but the best episodes are the Christmas ones and those with RDJ. I live the songs, I love the sentimentality

The only gif I could find for Santa Claus the Movie. I’ve not seen this for maybe 30 years and I remember it being quite scary but I probably first saw it when I was about seven. It’s alright! Maybe a 7/10

While You Were Sleeping. Sandra Bullock is delightful, Bill Pullman is incredibly attractive - a misunderstanding leads Lucy to be mistaken for the fiancé of a man in a coma. I know this off by heart and I still love it.

The Family Stone, I was introduced to this by a uni housemate and I bloody love it. Maybe it’s being one of five children that makes it so familiar and comforting. And there’s a secondary storyline running through that just tugs at you.

Little Women (‘94) I saw this at the cinema when I was ten having read the book first. I love it, it’s my favourite and the scene in the opera rafters still gives me a sentimental tingle. And I unconsciously quote it so much, I even say “is that sausage?” when I’ve cooked them every time. #christmas

Reassuring that they have noted that the photo, name and date can be changed to fit your own personal dead nan circumstances. You’re not just being fobbed off with any old dead nan.
