Yeah, our new kitten is like that too... I didn't want to give her pets though because she looked too comfy to move.

Bless you, my sibling. I have been preaching this good word for almost thirty years now. Even when I play FPS games, my trusty trackball is by my side, helping to vanquish foes.

I still own my original trackball, from 1998. At this point, it's a functioning relic. (Like me!)

It means *a lot* for me to be a magical girl. It carries a ton of meaning that I created most of this costume.

Sometimes if the world doesn't give us magic we have to make it.

I taught myself how to sew in the course of making my costume. I didn't sew all of it... I had to buy the leotard, boots, and gloves... and purchased the accessories.

But the skirt, poofs, bows, collar, and attachments I did myself and I'm really proud of my work.

Looking forward to modeling it!

Hell, even the three after that were still all solid games too. (Though I couldn't quite get into Starbound building...)

It's funny because I often joke that "Papers Please" isn't really a video game to me, it's a lot of what I do for my actual factual career.

(I'm not a border guard though.)

I'll do two better and go up to seven. And I've played these games quite a bit through the years, some of them very recently too. I'm not unhappy that these games would paint a picture of Serena as a gamergirl.

aww... but it's nice being out here, there's wide open spaces, our doggie loves running around out here, and us suburban-to-rural queers are doing our best to help the people around us get to know us...

A pair of running shoes, turned upside-down to see that the soles are almost worn completely off in the ball of the foot area. Serena did a seven-mile run in these shoes _just last week_.
