When I first heard the movie’s trans-gimmick premise I thought “Sounds way more likely to be cringe than powerful,” and every review I’ve read backs that up. I will not watch it, and if it wins more awards that will just cement my belief that awards don’t mean anything.
It Dominated the Oscar Nominations. It’s One of the Worst Movies of the Year.
