Whoops, last week was a bit wild and I missed this. So back to my weekly reminders that Snowpiercer is still one of the coolest movies out there, and very relevant in our current times. And it goes above and beyond mere relevance and provides a plan of action, a way through this mess. THE way. ✨

Even if you do not create/consume/like NSFW media you must speak up for SWs and NSFW creators b/c the criminalizing and banning of it is just another step towards fascism. It will be used to target minority groups, LGBT, etc. and anything deemed "unsanitary" or "degenerate".

Hey! This is a great list for where to start with dismantling the broken system we all live in. They all should be free or low-cost to access! It’s almost a guarantee your town or city will have one of these things, if not many or all.
learning about systems for this liminal time (like timebanks, repair cafes, tool & seed libraries, community gardens, local markets, community seasonal celebrations, red tents & sharing circles, community sewing spaces, groups keeping heritage crafts & skills alive, moneyless trade etc)

Going in to 2025, its important that you *actually own* the queer and trans literature you consume. That's why for ebooks you should always look for DRM-free storefronts like Itch, or an author/publisher's website, where you can buy a downloadable .epub you can read anywhere, and is yours forever

When you make purchases on Itch, the files are yours to keep forever. You aren't "licensing" it; Amazon can't delete it from your library.
