Today at Full Council I supported @anthonycarroll.bsky.social's amendment to an SNP motion condemning disinformation about asylum seekers and refugees, and reiterating that Glasgow is a welcoming city for those seeking refuge.

I had a lovely evening celebrating 100 years of Woodside Halls. It's great to see such a well loved and well used community hall going strong. Well done to everyone at Community Central Halls!

I enjoyed joining parents, pupils, and teachers at Dunard Primary this morning to plant flowers, improve benches, and clean up the playground. Great to see such a strong community spirit!

Thanks to Parents for Future Scotland for another really informative event about the dangers of air pollution and the benefits of active travel. It's always great to hear how children want to see our city improved.

It was a privilege to attend Elaine C Smith's Freedom of the City Ceremony @glasgowcc.bsky.social Elaine is the first woman to receive this honour since 1969. Happy International Women's Day to Elaine and all of Glasgow's inspirational women
