Great piece, fascinating book recommendation, thanks! Doesn’t seem like there are many ways to shift voters perceptions of their own accountability to ‘chose wisely’. Maybe it takes a generational change in voters, which comes to education?

Interesting article, thanks! ‘Might’ is doing an awful lot of heavy lifting here, though. If human and artificial data volumes are likely to increase in parallel going forward, why hasn’t that been the case recently? And why such a premium on human generated data, I wonder!

This feels like a highly systemic problem that would benefit from integration with an industrial strategy for STEM, and cultural strategy, if such a such a thing exists. And needs to be able to influence the school choices that seem to drive a lot of the outcomes.
