I usually scroll while waiting at my med appts. Today I did something productive. Filled in my ballot (aka Ford Removal Kit) & mailed it on the way home.

I voted for public healthcare. I voted for rent control.
I voted for doubling ODSP. I voted for fixing our crumbling schools.

I just checked SmartVoting.ca and absolutely cannot believe that somehow PCs are currently projected to win this riding again! Clinton Hospital had their ER closed the most hours in all of ON in 2024 as per CBC website. Why is this region going to hand Lisa Thompson another 4 years? I don't get it.

PCs in Huron-Bruce are currently in the lead with 57% followed by Liberal at 23%, NDP at 12%, Green is at 5% and New Blue Party at 3%. These percentages are shown in a bar graph format. Below the graph for Huron Bruce it says Your current MPP is Lisa Thompson, Conservative. Trending: Ontario PC, Vote: Liberal (to be interpreted as "Vote Liberal" as a strategic way to avoid vote splitting in order to defeat the Conservatives in this riding).
