Earlier this week, during the #EvidenceWeek opening reverse committee, @laurenceto.bsky.social joined us at Westminster to ask MPs a question on an issue that matters to him - it's great to have public voices shaping the conversation on evidence and policy.

Antonia Bance MP took the witness stand at the #EvidenceWeek reverse committee hearing this week, on behalf of the Business and Trade Committee. People from across the UK came to Westminster to put their questions directly to MPs, asking about the evidence behind the issues that matter most to them.

Michael Meth from San Jose State University discussed how the role of curators is evolving, especially in the context of AI, how people clearly want curation (e.g. using AI summaries vs full searches) but we need good curation and libraries are uniquely placed to connect people to trusted resources.

Camille Gamboa from @sagepub.com discussed why they felt it was important to support a guide bringing light to #PublicGoodCuration and the role it plays when it comes to society having confidence and trust in research.
