I'm proud to serve as your State Senator for Michigan SD 13 — covering parts of Wayne and Oakland County! Official Account.
Here are some pictures from India Day in Novi! The event was held to recognize India’s independence from the United Kingdom on August 15, 1947. I was honored to join Sen. Michael Webber in presenting a tribute during the festivities—an incredible day filled with culture, dance, food, and community!

Despite the downpour yesterday, we had an excellent Community Conversation hour at Walled Lake City Hall! From federal issues and the State budget to boat wake on our lakes - we talked about so many issues that matter.

I can't wait until my next event. See you there!

John and I are love supporting small businesses - and Three Brother's Restaurant in Plymouth is one of our favorites to visit in SD 13. John loves the pierogi and sausage, as it's a familiar, comforting dish his mom used to make. We can't wait until our next visit!

Last Sunday, at least 12 people were injured in an antisemitic attack during what was supposed to be a peaceful community event in Boulder, Colorado. This targeted affront to justice and peaceful demonstration was belied by intolerance and hatred. [1/2]

I had a great time visiting 3rd Graders at Walled Lake Elementary to celebrate March is Reading Month. March is a great time to celebrate the joy of reading - but early childhood literacy is important all year long! 📖🏫
