We are incredibly fortunate to have a NILEA academy right here at home, where our future officers are trained by seasoned, respected veteran officers from the Region. Their experience, mentorship and commitment help shape the next generation of public safety leaders.

Hoosiers made their voices heard, and the legislature chose to listen. Over the last several weeks, community members, advocates and local leaders stood together to push back against an unnecessary and politically motivated session. Your engagement made the difference.

The takeaway couldn’t be clearer: Hoosiers are united in saying no to redistricting this year.

Let’s keep up the pressure and make sure lawmakers do what’s right and say no mid-decade map changes. #INForAll

✅ What continues: Social Security, military ops, mail, air travel, ICE
⚠️ What’s affected: federal office delays, limited national parks, delayed pay for 24K+ IN workers, possible SNAP/WIC disruptions, food bank uncertainty

With a full house, the question was posed asking who was opposed to redistricting this year, and everyone raised their hands.

Please keep speaking up & holding lawmakers accountable. Let’s continue the pressure to reject any mid-decade attempts to rig our congressional maps.
