well head of the price here now. Just hope he breaks reasonably well - has been a bit tardy in stalls lately. Got away with it last year and was still in front rank after 4 fur and bagging the rail. Might be a bit more of an issue to do that from stall 2 ( ideal draw if he does break well though)

Dan Skelton's perceived number 2,Snipe, also interesting at 40/1 with six places. The 7lb claim could be very usefully employed

yep can easily forget that last run Joe. They have said he needs plenty of time between his races before so slight concern it may come too soon but gl

Marble Sands also went into notebook for a race like this after a good Cheltenham run on ground that was too soft. This likely better ground and trip could well be ideal if he takes to the fences. Additional interest at 20/1

several of these are now on a downward curve but not well handicapped. Capodanno been here twice and didnt get home. Royale P needs it much softer. Hewick just looks the one in best form, not badly handicapped and should get his preferred ground 🤞 #GrandNational

biggest issue for me now they have made it so easy is that there is no advantage to go wider for Bechers Brook. Everyone now wants the Golden Highway down the inside along the back straight. For all the fences have got smaller still remains too much opportunity for a pile up imo

it used to be 9 to 10 ideally for age but think thats been torn to shreds as the fences got gradually easier. When Noble Yeats won as a 7yo it was a big sea change. Seeing over 20 in with a chance on the Melling Rd last yr in GN and Topham not exactly what I'm used to.

Hewick currently top of my list in assumption its good or good to soft. Wouldnt have been my pick in the race pre last year but am throwing all the old weight/age stats in the bin with this new style race now
