My favourite version of SF2CE is the port to the PCE. Given it's limitations, such as it's 8-bit CPU, it's a very faithful port with incredible attention to detail.

Flimbo's Quest for the #Commodore64 is an excellent little platform game created by Laurens van der Donk & published by System 3. It features a large, colourful, main character sprite, catchy tunes by Reyn Ouwehand, sound FX and - lo and behold - parallax scrolling backgrounds! 😱

Really enjoying my new #PCEngine! Just finished Galaga '90. It's short & a bit on the easy side, but fun nonetheless.

#JrPacMan is an interesting ROM hack of Pac-Man that features a more detailed story, longer intermissions, scrolling mazes, and "fruit" that leaves large pellets in its wake, which take longer for Jr. to eat. Also, if the "fruit" collide with a power pellet, they blow it up - wild! Try it in #MAME.

#PacmanPlus, while just a simple ROM hack of Pac-Man, adds some interesting tweaks such as random power-pellet effects that include turning off the lights, and randomly making one ghost immune to fright-mode. Also, "fruit" send ghosts into fright-mode but make them invisible too. Try it in #MAME!

Anyone remember this gem? #MsPacMan LCD "handheld" by #Coleco. Tons of fun, but a real battery hog that needed 4x 'C' cell batteries (the big ones used in flashlights). Try it out in #MAME. What's your #highscore? Mine's around 12k pts, which is not great tbh.
