Not every State Senator is lucky enough to have two teams playing in the state football championship- if only they didn't play each other. Yesterday, I adjourned in honor of the Notre Dame Academy and West De Pere High School football teams.

On this Veteran's Day I honor my dad, who served in the First Cavalry in the Korean War, and all of the other veterans who sacrificed for our freedom.

I was honored to join our veterans this weekend as they returned from their Honor Flight. Our northeastern Wisconsin community showed up in large numbers at Austin Straubel Airport, and I will continue to show up for our veterans in the capitol.

Yesterday, I was honored to welcome Secretary of Transportation Kristina Boardman to visit our district. We toured the Port of Green Bay and discussed the $20 million in funds for its expansion, as well as several other opportunities in Brown County.
