Not every State Senator is lucky enough to have two teams playing in the state football championship- if only they didn't play each other. Yesterday, I adjourned in honor of the Notre Dame Academy and West De Pere High School football teams.

Best of luck this weekend, and may the best team win!

Today, I was proud to introduce the SAFE Kids Act with my colleague Senator Kelda Roys.

Fifty years ago today, the Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior after leaving port in Wisconsin.

I authored a bipartisan resolution recognizing the loss of life, which passed the Senate on October 14th. You can read more about the ship and her story here ⬇️

50 years after sinking, the legendary Edmund Fitzgerald still has stories to tell
Only a few expeditions have made the journey down to the wreck, which is now designated a protected grave site. That leaves many questions unanswered.
