Protest is not a privilege – it’s our fundamental right.

But the Government’s Crime and Policing Bill will give police powers to shut down protests and criminalise people for taking to the streets.

Dr David Levy's findings confirm what trans+ people have known for years: adult gender services are failing.

We welcome the acknowledgement that change is needed, but it does not go far enough.

They are striking to protect their profession and their patients — and I was proud to join them on the picket line outside St. Thomas’ Hospital this morning.

The Ministry of Justice is still refusing to meet with the lawyers or families of hunger strikers being held on remand.

This is a shambolic dereliction of duty.

I have written to David Lammy, again, imploring him to do the right thing before it is too late.

Watching the Diddy documentary, trying not to scream at the juror who is like “she would get beaten by him but she would stay? It’s basically half her fault”.

This is why women don’t speak out, and why physically and mentally abusive men get away with this ALL the time & feel empowered to continue.

Day 41 of Amu’s hunger strike.

Still, the Justice Secretary refuses to meet with me.
My constituent, Amu, is on Day 40 of their hunger strike in prison.

Last month, I requested an urgent meeting with the Justice Secretary to discuss their wellbeing.

He has now officially declined my request.

What an absolute disgrace.
