after days of grifters and con men at CES we stumbled upon the booth for VLC. they were all dressed as wizards and told us, "we have nothing to sell, we just decided to show up". i told them I'd been using their software to pirate media for 15 years and they said "keep doing that"

An updated version of Prudence, my dnd character. It's a portrait of a young woman with pale skin, long dark green hair, and a gold neckpiece. She has an orange eye, and the other is white as if it was blind. She is surrounded by a tempest of grasshoppers. Behind her, a yellowish sky, torn in the middle by the night. At the center, behind her, a dark sun, omen of the return of her monstrous father. A concept sheet showing the final version of the High Inquisitor (the antagonist) and Grive (our protagonist) with her owl companion Duc. The first one is a knight with a cape made of dark blue feathers, armor covered with candles and smoke. He just took down a monster. The other is a woman presenting being, her body is red, as if she didn't have skin. Her legs are covered in black armor, and she has long white hair. Golden feathers spread like a tail behind her, and she uses a golden bow. A concept sheet showing two NPC. One is a cook named Fricaisse. She is a strange looking old woman, stirring a big smoking cauldron. She wears rags, and a big basket full of food. Golden snails roam on her body, and one of them seems to be whispering in her ear. She has a wicked but kind gaze. Her eyes and mouth are covered with a black material, and she has various strange tattoos on her chin and arms (maybe remnants symbol of cultures gone with christianity). The other character is a strong but broody man. He's a blacksmith forging a sword, with the help of a salamander and its fiery breath. His whole body bears burning scars, covered by bandages including is face. He wears a leather armor, potions and various tools for his craft. A shield, white with a read jagged cross, is silently waiting next to him.
