Data sadist. High quality, high variance, galaxy-brained takes. Urbanism, rage against cruelty and inefficiency, scifi/fantasy, shoegaze, stats and programming. I live in Denver, say hi if you're on Ikon.
What about Disney cartoon remakes of live action Disney, like Pirates of the Caribbean or Swiss Family Robinson or The Black Hole

Opposite how?

I'd believe these people more if, instead of "consumer pain will fix markets" they were trying to do laws like "health care providers will publish their prices, which are inclusive of all ancillary fees, from anaesthesiologist to meds"

Never resign
The reality of most evil jobs is that it is morally good to hold them, as long as you are incompetent

I feel like that fucks them with their disengaged voters without doing much to stop the defection from the Romney suburbanites. And I don't think anyone with power in the GOP is willing to start conpromising

Best day to fix the Constitution was in 1789, ...

An amendment to move all powers of the Senate to the House minus 1 or 2 ceremonial things (some, like amendments, you might want to require being passed by 2 consecutive Houses)

Trump loves to sue. Oscar Wilde solution.

Well we should probably eliminate 90% of cities (by consolidation. I'm not warblogging.) M&A for government.

I'm kinda neutral on this (and similarly caning)? Slow, out-of-sight, outsourced cruelty is probably worse for the punished, and less effective as a deterrent. Integral, not max, as measure of pain.
Also, guillotine for capital punishment.

The fascination is with WHY she doesn't attract male gaze despite being hot and sexy.
Her heavy makeup is a good synechode - this seems normal to makeup wearers who appreciate the artiface, but for straight men who often don't realize someone is wearing makeup, it seems uncanny and inauthentic.

Like the only good bit of yookay culture from the last decade

Yeah, it isn't straightfoward but he wasn't campaigning on health care or social security cuts and is clearly not a Christian fundy - those were big issues back in the '00s. And he got a lot of criticism from the GOP in 2016 at least, but the criticism wasn't "too conservative" but "conman creep".

There are a few places where there is dark gray text on the medium gray background, but generally it's nice.

I'd enjoy hearing Trump talk about theatre
Romney seems like the real cold fish

Impact fee offsets
Would actually be a good way for States to subsidize localities to stop blocking new housing while not "supporting evil developers"

"Racist, but understands overlapping distributions" is a step up compared to the average chud
