This is insane. The USDA should NOT reduce access to healthy, local foods - especially during a time when food prices continue to skyrocket and many families are struggling to put food on the table.
Good Shepherd Food Bank said it recently learned that USDA will stop delivering about 1 million pounds of food through the Emergency Food Assistance Program to Maine. Those deliveries are on hold for Good Shepherd — and food banks around the country — through at least June.

Don’t let babies go hungry. Fully fund #WIC. WIC is a nutrition lifeline for pregnant people, new parents, babies, and toddlers. Right now, Congress is debating over funding for the program. With food costs increasing and WIC aiding more households, we need more funding this year.
