We do NOT ask for ID for anyone to check out anything; no libraries do.

Maybe a library card but libraries never ask patrons for passports or birth certificates to apply for a library card.

Oh… and if we recognize you, you don’t need any ID anyway.

I wish the judge had imposed the fine on the US Attorney, who is probably on the top of the papers. Hold that person accountable.

The focus should be that Trump, Noem, etc are hanging the military out to dry and pay the fines for *their* illegal refusal to follow court orders.

No, JAG lawyers are active duty military and cannot just quit their jobs. They are obligated to fulfill the terms of their enlistment contract or else be subject to court martial and other penalties.

That’s why they brought in JAG- they can’t quit like a civilian attorney can.
