My answer, would be wait. Companies are publicly traded entities and love having big numbers went up events. By delaying your purchase by months or longer it deprives them of that big exciting number they get to show shareholders.

The individual chemical components degrade at different rates, which means over time the ratio's are thrown off so it's possible for a potion to become something else entirely or just ineffective. :D

Reading this I kinda wish I could refund the thing... but it was a gift and quite some time ago. I had some hope they would fix it, but clearly that will never happen now :/

It might just be me, but some of the questions felt like they were for really big NA conventions so my experiences in a much smaller country are quite different :) But I hope the answers help a bit, what do you plan to do with them?
