Shameless self promotion, but hopefully forgivable, given the moment we’re in right now. Military ethics is under grave threat. SecDef Hegseth is perverting the “warrior ethos” and putting the mental, moral, and spiritual health of all U.S. service members in jeopardy.

So my daughter and I just baked fresh pumpkin pies. Hers is absolutely perfect. Mine is… well… let’s call it rustic? 😂 (In my defense, I had to make mine gluten free, which means the dough is uniquely uncooperative.)

Hubby and I had fun perusing the aisles of Spirit Halloween. As usual, some of the things they try to make “sexy” for costumes are hilarious. One potential winner - Sexy Cookie Monster

So this BS just happened to me again (after happening before, same exact language, to me and a female colleague at another university). It’s some kind of weird incel stuff - if allowed to continue, it gets more menacing. If anyone knows anything more and how to stop/avoid it, do please share. Ugh!

Text exchange is screenshot. It reads like this: “Yes, who is this?” “I admit women have won the battle of the sexes, us men are the losers” “You have one chance left to tell me who you are, or I will block and report your number. A close friend of mine was hassled by a creep today at work. He used language that I swear I’ve seen somewhere before. Is this some sort of anti-women, incel-type script - maybe from an LLM? Does anyone else find it familiar? He also called her and complained that her university has a women’s center

😂 Sorry! Some of my Army friends have kindly suggested I get help for my Naval Academy “Stockholm Syndrome,” lol. Here’s me with some of my mids, back in the day.
