I relate to this too much. I’m an average player at best and I own 5. Every 5-7 years another one creeps on to my radar.

Learn it from what? Every major outlet is calling this an antifa ideology. Not one has connected the shooter to groypers. Not even a hint of a suggestion.

The inevitable conflicts that emerge as these things get worse will intensify. I can’t even fathom what the globe will be like in 200 years, but I doubt “America” exists in any recognizable form.

Climate change, ocean acidification, climate refugees, ocean rise, extended droughts, food/water shortages brought on by all of the above piled on top of democracies failing across the globe, etc. and America “can’t collapse?” Enough strain will collapse anything.

Humans aren’t surviving another 200 years, and these folks are taking huge steps to ensure that reality.

But I thought they were magically on the same page this afternoon and that her congressional testimony was “misconstrued!”

Assuming he wins the primary. Which is probably likely given how insane the GOP is here.

As a lifelong resident of Texas, I would not bet on some large anti Paxton movement. The fucker has won AG over and over statewide even while under indictment AND impeached by the state GOP. Maybe a generational candidate could do it but we don’t have those here (except Beto that one time)

Democrats are not going to win the senate, regardless of this bill’s fate. That would be the biggest miracle imaginable requiring 4 wins (3 would be 50/50) out of NC, FL, TX, ME, OH and IA, not to mention holding MI and GA.

It’s not about preventing. If the DOJ raids a state and takes the machines, then what? Look, we all have to take to heart that people are fighting and we all have to be part of that. But at need to confront reality. They’re definitely going to try (and possibly succeed) in disrupting elections.

People keep talking about the idea of a fair election over a YEAR from now. Look what they’ve fucked up in one MONTH and tell me you really believe normal elections are happening. We’re in a different paradigm now.
February 22, 2025 at 3:56 PM
They don’t seem that worried. If they were they’d start acting to reign in the damage w/ dems. With a fully corrupted DOJ and a military purge, along with the USPS news, why do we think they’ll stop with elections? I find that highly dubious, even though I wish it were true.

Elections are over. Just ask the new FBI director and check out that military purge. When they say the GOP actually “won” every swing district, who will stop them?

Are you communicating with senators? Will they gum up the works by denying unanimous consent? Are you going to leverage debt ceiling negotiations for a seat at the table? PLEASE BE SPECIFIC. We need leadership and direction not platitudes and press releases.
February 3, 2025 at 8:37 PM
What tactic, specifically? Why aren’t you and other electeds at Treasury demanding answers, drawing media focus and highlighting what exactly is going on for ppl? Where is the communication for constituents and next steps? What is our organizing principle? (Besides asking us for $5 fucking dollars?)
February 3, 2025 at 8:35 PM
Not sure it’s gonna work like that this time around.

Four? Not sure we ever escape this now.
