Yes in jest (my sarcasm didn’t translate well over Bluesky)! Back in the day folks used to say “never pack the neck” advocating only for Foley in these situations. Have had some heated discussions about it….

But also yes, definitely never TQ the neck!

Agreed! And, if there are feedback mechanisms in place on outcomes and diagnoses, we can update our mental models as we refine our clinical practice!

But, we likely enforce this as educators giving learners stereotyped patients for sims and written Qs…. Good for quick decision making but builds mental models with ONLY those S&Sx or Hx.

Then without debrief while practicing further cements it.
