The most surreal and maddening feature of the campaign was that everyone agreed that high prices were the main issue but the guy explicitly, consistently running on a platform of raising everyone’s prices won voters most concerned about high prices.

DOGE is JUST supposed to be an advisory committee. He/them are NOT LEGALLY ALLOWED to access the US payment system!! By law he should have gone through Congress, but, we know how they would have missed the ring of President Muskrat!!

i think this should be factored into how states, counties, localities and hospitals respond to these executive orders. "we will investigate you if you teach DEI." okay, with what agents, specifically? with what state capacity?
NYT reported that the number of potentially affected agents is as high as 6k. The bureau has about 13.7k agents total

There’s talk on bsky about sex workers and nsfw art on here and I just wanna make my stance clear - I think nsfw content should absolutely exist on this site and I don’t subscribe to online puritanical beliefs/the censoring of it. If that’s an issue for you I might not be someone to follow
