I've had stuff up-streamed when I've identified and fixed a problem maybe once or twice.

I've also had to maintain my own forks with my patches applied countless times, for years, because upstream doesn't want to deal with it. I don't really even try to report and fix bugs anymore.

Being able to pull the funds into a self directed roll-over IRA is honestly something to weigh positively when considering changing jobs.

You can eat an *astonishingly* large amount of pickles and zucchini/squash/broccoli (WITHOUT OIL), and stay well within a small calorie budget.
